About
April was born right here in the Sanctuary to mum Willow, who originally came to us from Dartmoor.
Due to her patient and sweet nature, April spent time on loan with young families and often taught the children how to ride. She still works with children now, helping with our Happy Hooves Club in the school holidays.
By adopting April today, you will be gaining a new friend as well as helping the Mare and Foal Sanctuary do what it does best – rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming horses and ponies in need.
