| History: Mischief came to us as a two-day-old foal in the back of a land rover, born on Dartmoor his mother had fallen into a Leat and broken her leg, she had to be put to sleep. They had to sedate Mischief to catch him and when he came round he was very angry, poor Rosemary had bruises for weeks afterwards. At the time we also had Frankie another orphan foal but Mischief was not so easy, he would not suckle and things came to crisis point a few days later so we had to force feed him by syringe every half hour through the night. This was the turning point and after that he went from strength to strength. 26.08.09 - Vet = Looks good – inc turn out by half an hour a week, keep eye on grass |
