A letter received from a carer;
From Guiness's Carer
Hi Syra
Just thought I 'd send a few lines to keep you informed on how Guiness
is settling in.
Firstly, a very big thank you for letting Guiness come into our lives he
is just such a poppet. He loaded first time with out any need for food
and travelled so well we almost stopped to check he was still in the
trailer.
Once we arrived at the stables we unloaded him and he looked left then
right and took me off to graze. After a few moments to show him off to
the other yard uses he was turned out with an old T/B cross gelding to
which he said a quite hello to then they both went back to grazing by
the sea.
After watching him for a hour or so we left him in peace and returned in
the evening to bring him in and put him to bed. He walked into his new
stable and located the haynet very quickly, we then brought him his tea
to which ate happily. We locked the stable door and said goodnight, but
waited out of sight to see how he would settle. It was like he'd been
there all his life not a peep out of him, in all my years with horses
and ponies I have never seen one settle so quickly in a new home.
Sunday morning he called to us as we arrived and happily went out in his
field, he was later introduced to the other three ponies he is sharing a
field with. There was a little bit of running around but he soon told
them he was not a push over and after 15 minutes they all settled down.
We stayed in the next field for a couple of hours with a picnic to make
sure all was well, we certainly picked a good weather window.
Chloe rode him on Monday for the first time and he was such a good boy
for her and she has bonded with him so well, he will never want for a
cuddle ever again!
I have some pictures that when I load them on to the computer will send
on to you.
To you and all your staff at the sanctuary again a big thank you and
well done for doing such a fantastic job. Good luck with all future
horses and ponies and will keep in touch regularly with progress reports.
Yours gratefully
Guiness's new Carer.

A letter received from a carer;
From Yoshi's Carer
Hi all,
Just a message to say we got home safe & sound. Yoshi neighed all the
way home and was a little sweaty by the time we got home but after a
quiet rest in the yard with a pile of hay, and a quick brush over, he
was ready to meet his new friend.
