Someone wrote to me and asked if I remembered the Horse’s Prayer. As I hadn’t read it for some time, I decided to look it up and print it – so everyone else can read it. Sadly, the author is unknown, but from the way it is written I would say it was written some time ago. For instance, Glanders and Farcy - highly infectious respiratory and skin diseases with very high fatalities, were eradicated in Great Britain in 1928.
