Alice
A 10.2 hh Bay Dartmoor Hill Pony Mare approximately 10 years old.

"Companion Only - fairly local as MUST retain same vet

sweet little mare, gets on with pretty much anyone, good, to catch, lead, traffic, load, farrier etc although can be slightly nervous to start with with new things. Has a roach back so can never be ridden. Also had serious dental and nasal cavity issues, hence why must retain same vet please. This has all been sorted out but may require further tooth removing at a later date on the other side of her mouth. Ideal companion and would think she would stay on own in stable with hay whilst another ridden quite happily.

Bobby
A 10.2 hh Skewbald Dartmoor X Shetland Gelding approximately 18 years old.

"Very Experienced Quiet Home Only

Very sweet natured, but nervous of strangers, has been known to bolt when lead although recently now settled is leading and catching well to and from field etc. MUST be given time to settle and get to know any new people, so a yard where he can be run safely in and out is vital. Once caught in stable good to groom, farrier, vet etc if with someone he trusts. Ideal companion with other horses, has been known to mount smaller mares when they are in season but otherwise more apt to be bullied than anything. Can be left on own in stable whilst another horse is ridden etc.

Gemma
A 13.3 hh Bay TB X New Forest Mare approximately 21 years old.

"Light adult or competant teenager ONLY, hacking out and schooling well, good to catch, shoe, traffic, load. Does get a bit overexcited sometimes, no major problems just good fun to a competant rider. Also coming home and off road can again get a bit overexcited, can be strong and quite full of it, not all the time though. Worst she does are tiny rears or occasional kick up of heels. Also get overexcited in a large group of horses, better hacking on own or with just one other
Can be marish with boys.
Due to age and recent unsoundness (is very sound now) would not want a competing home, regular hacking and some schooling is fine.

Josie
A 13.3 hh Black Welsh Mare approximately 20 years old.

"Mild Sweetitch which must be kept on top of during summer months - lived out most of last year with twice daily lotions. Can be a bit stroppy when in season.
Other than that have found her to be a sweetheart, good to catch, load, handle, farrier, traffic etc. Needs a home with regular hacking, will school well with experienced rider but Not physically capeable of heavy work/jumping. Would suit happy hacker preferably older lightweight adult and quiet home. One home reported tripping but we discovered toes were too long, since being trimmed more regularly this has not been a problem.
Can kick out if another horse comes too close when ridden.
Stresses if left in whe others turned out.
Seems to get on with pretty much anything in paddock
Shown in hand very sucessfully
max weight when ridden 10.5 stone
Good to catch, lead, handle, load, traffic, hacks alone and in company.

Good in traffic inc heavy vehicles, good with farrier and dentist. can push boundaries on the ground so does need to respect handler, can kick out at unknown horses if come too close.
