Diamond, a pretty piebald,  was part of a consignment rescued by a Channel Islands Charity and was on her way to Belgium for use in experimentation for Hormone Replacement Therapy along with 30 other dartmoor mares in foal.  Diamond was totally wild on arrival and couldn't be handled or even approached.  However, with time and love she's grown into a confident and relaxed pony and was rehomed once we'd trained her for lead-rein and also riding.  She loves her food and it's a struggle to keep her weight down.

You will receive a Certificate of Adoption and picture of the horse or pony you wish to adopt plus a description of how they arrived in the care of the Mare & Foal Sanctuary.
