Everyone had a fantastic time at our special Easter Egg Hunt on Monday – and it proved so popular we will now be running it throughout the rest
of the Easter school holidays.
The event, at our Coombe Park Visitor Centre near Totnes, drew people from as far away as Ealing in South London and proved a huge hit with the
Everyone got the chance to meet our fabulous – and cheeky – horses and ponies, as well as watching our mascot Chester beat the Easter Bunny in
a special jump off inside our giant indoor arena.
With tours of the yard throughout the day and loads for the children to see and do, including decorating horse shoes and learning about the work
of the Sanctuary, it was a great day out, despite the overcast weather.
If you would like to take part in our Easter Egg Hunt over the school break, our Visitor Centre in Littlehempston, TQ9 6LW, is open between
10am and 4pm. Tickets are £3 and include a tour of our stable yards. There is also a cafe in our arena serving delicious food and warming drinks.
