Safeguarding and safety is embedded within everything we do here at the Mare and Foal Sanctuary, not just in our education team’s work.

We are happy to share our risk assessments, safeguarding policies and more about our approach to health and safety.

We safeguard children, young people and adults at risk from harm and abuse in accordance with the Children’s Act 2004 and the Care Act 2014.  We also fully adopt the British Equine Federation (BEF) Safeguarding Policies for Children and Young People and Adults at Risk.
