River is being rehomed as a NON RIDDEN COMPANION
River is a wonderful little pony. He was born in the Sanctuary and has been well handled. River will need a confident and consistent handler because he is only young and still has lots to learn, therefore he would benefit from a home with a good routine.
Being a small native, River will require restricted grazing to control his weight and to prevent laminitis and obesity so would suit a home with ponies needing the same grazing management as him.
River had proved to be relaxed when left in the stable when friends are taken away, however, this will need someone with time to continue his training with this in a new environment.
River has been walked out on the lanes, meet small traffic and has been introduced to some basic horse agility, which he seems to enjoy. He would suit an active home.
