Tarragon is looking for a competent rider who has a good amount of experience with bringing on and schooling youngsters. He is not particularly forward thinking in the school, hence the need for someone with schooling experience. Access to a schooling facility on site or nearby is also essential.
Tarragon needs to go and have some fun so a good variety of work would be ideal for him. He has been ridden in open fields in front and behind, he is still green in faster work but is improving.
Tarragon is good to hack out, both alone and in company. He is respectful of electric fencing and happy to be left behind in a stable whilst other are worked.
This is a rare opportunity to have a wonderful horse on a temporary loan to continue his education with the view for him returning to the Sanctuary to become part of our Equine Assisted Learning program in the future.
All applicants will be required to support their applications with evidence of previous ridden experience, as well as coming to meet with Tarragon as many times as we deem necessary. Tarragon has a weight limit of 11.5 stone.
Applications for Tarragon for a permanent rehome will not be considered at this time.
