Tilly is a ten year old hill pony mare. She's looking for a new home either as a companion, or, in the right home, could be brought into work as a ridden pony.
Tilly has done lots of walking out on the lanes and nearby moorland, often being used as a 'nanny' for younger ponies venturing out the first few times. She has also done some horse agility in the arena and has loved doing this little bit of in hand work.
She is generally good to handle, catch and with the farrier. Tilly's little quirk is that she loves playing with her water, or the water from the hosepipe and loves a bath when the weather's warm and a good pamper!
Tilly would make a good companion for a ridden horse, as she has been happy left behind by herself while others are exercised.
She is used to living out, but is equally happy to be stabled for part of the time. Tilly has had laminitis in the past, so because of this, and her type she would be best suited to a home where her grazing can be restricted and monitored especially through Spring and Summer.
