Introducing the gorgeous Quest – our new Adoption horse

Adore horses and ponies but don’t have the space to keep one?

We have a new Adoption horse called Quest who would love to be yours – with regular updates, photos and news about his wonderful life at the Sanctuary.

Gorgeous Quest was found abandoned and came to the Sanctuary in 2012. He was in a terrible state. Malnourished and suffering from parasites, it was a slow process to a full recovery.

But the striking, six year-old Cob’s wonderful character shone through the entire time!

His adoring groom Olivia O’keeffe (Pictured) said: “He is such a helpful chap and is ready to throw himself into any challenge with gusto. He absolutely adores attention and loves living at our Coombe Park Visitor Centre where he can meet people from all over the country.

“He’s an inspiration to us all here and has a heart of gold.”

Adopting a pony is a great way of supporting the Mare and Foal Sanctuary and it can make a wonderful gift for anyone mad about horses.

The charity has hundreds of adopters – from Cornwall to Scotland – and it now has five horses and ponies ready to be adopted, including tiny Sir Didymus and beautiful Ludo.
