An update on our adoption ponies

We love sharing the latest news with you about what each of the ponies is doing. However, the needs of our beautiful adoption ponies change and the moment has now come for us to make some adjustments to our adoption scheme.

We are happy to announce that Quest and William will both be joining new homes through our Sanctuary at Home scheme. After so many years with the adoption team we are excited for this new chapter in their lives. Ensuring that all of our eligible equines get the opportunity to experience care at home is really important to us for a lot of reasons. We will always be here to care for them if circumstances change. They will have regular check-ups from our Welfare Outreach and Advice team, but we know that they will thrive in their new homes.

Unfortunately, Arnie now requires specialist vet care and plenty of rest and relaxation. We hope that with this care and attention Arnie will continue to have the best opportunity possible for recovery.

We are sad to see these ponies leave the scheme, but our equines’ health and happiness is always the number one priority for us at the sanctuary. They have been adoption ponies for a combined total of 10 years and have been wonderful ambassadors for the charity. They have proved time and time again the amazing things rescued horses and ponies are capable of. We will be announcing the latest pony to join our adoption scheme later this month.
