Parsley

Parsley is generally easy to handle and good with the farrier and vet. He has been walked out on the roads and is used to seeing traffic including lorries. There is nothing wrong physically to stop him being ridden. Riding just isn’t the best thing for him as he doesn’t seem to enjoy it, however he can go for walks and do some in hand work and agility.

He is used to a big yard and is good with others in the herd. However, he does get unsettled if lots of changes, so his ideal home would be one where he will have a constant companion that he won’t be expected to leave. Parsley is a sensitive boy and responds best to quiet, calm handling and needs to be given time to build a bond with people.

Parsley is not respectful of electric fencing and will require substantial perimeter fencing and will only be considered for homes with solid post and rail fencing.

Parsley requires regular dentals to be carried out by a vet, so he is being rehomed on our Prime Pastures scheme, where we can contribute towards the cost of this.

Please do not apply for Parsley as a ridden horse as this will not be considered.
