Athena is a nervous pony who has overcome a lot, but she thrives here at our peaceful Honeysuckle Sanctuary, where she can live a calm and quiet life.
Athena was pregnant on arrival and also had foal, Ares, at foot. She showed signs of having been mistreated and had been through extreme distress. She was wary and defensive around humans and has therefore required a long training programme to make her feel more confident around people.
Now, Athena has built some confidence and has trusting relationships with our grooms. She loves to be out in the field and will continue her training.

If you choose to pay monthly, your sponsorship will auto renew after 12 months, and you will receive a new certificate. We will write to you before your renewal date to let you know.
If you choose to pay a one-off fee of £30, your sponsorship will be valid for 12 months. You will need to purchase another sponsorship, if you would like to renew.
If you sponsor a pony today and select a physical pack it should arrive within 10 working days.
