Miniature Shetland Sir Didymus is our smallest sponsorship pony, and one of the smallest in the whole Sanctuary.
He arrived in the Sanctuary after he and Ludo were abandoned, when he was just one years old. He was in poor condition and required lots of medical care and love from our grooms to become the happy and content pony he is now.
Didy continues to prove that the smallest ponies often have the biggest personalities. He is very curious and confident and loves a tasty treat from his groom.

When you sponsor a horse or pony with The Mare and Foal Sanctuary you will receive: a welcome letter, certificate, fact sheet about your chosen pony, letter from the groom, A5 photo, bookmark and a tote bag as a free gift.
If you are sponsoring as a gift for somebody else, you can also include a personalised message.
Updates are sent throughout the year and you can talk to other sponsors and get updates on our exclusive Facebook group.
If you choose to pay monthly, your sponsorship will auto renew after 12 months, and you will receive a new certificate. We will write to you before your renewal date to let you know.
If you choose to pay a one-off fee of £30, your sponsorship will be valid for 12 months. You will need to purchase another sponsorship, if you would like to renew.
If you sponsor a pony today and select a physical pack it should arrive within 10 working days.
If you order a digital pack this will be available to download instantly (your free gift and certificate will be sent in the post separately and may take 10 working days to arrive).
