Give a gift of a healthy life
Your gift could ensure that we can continue giving horses and ponies in need the very best care and carry on providing them with essentials like feed, bedding and hay.
We spend an average of £47.56 per horse on feed, bedding and hay each month. Rescue horses and ponies can often require more specialist feeds as they can be severely overweight or underweight when they arrive at the Sanctuary. This is one of our most essential costs and your support could help us continue providing expert levels of care to ponies in need.
Whether you give the gift of comfort, warmth or protection purchasing one of our virtual products will help us to continue our work in caring for and rehabilitating horses and ponies who have been abandoned, abused and mistreated.
As an animal welfare charity, our costs are high as we care for over 200 horses and ponies across our six sanctuaries. Many of our horses and ponies are found underweight or overweight, with significant injuries, or traumatised and vulnerable. Grooms work hard every day to rehabilitate each horse and provide them with the care they need. This might include additional visits and check-ups from our vet, extra supplements and nutritional feed, and costly surgeries. Rehabilitation journeys may take much longer for a rescue pony, but we will always be there to provide them with a sanctuary for life.
What you’ll receive:
As a thank you for supporting the Sanctuary you’ll receive a downloadable certificate featuring stories about how your purchase will change the lives of so many horses and ponies. You can give a virtual gift to a friend or keep it for yourself, safe in the knowledge that your purchase will help us do so much more.
Please note you will not receive a physical gift. Your kind donation will help with essential costs and care for horses and ponies across the whole Sanctuary. We treat all purchases of virtual gifts for our horses and ponies as donations and will spend the money where the need is greatest, enabling us to provide the best possible care.
