Heston

Heston is generally good to handle but would benefit from someone with experience as he does need reassurance in some situations.

He would love a home where he will get lots of love and attention, he loves to be groomed and is a gentle boy. His ideal home would be a quiet one, with someone with an interest in positive training methods as Heston has been progressing well for vet visits. He would like a calm handler who can recognize when he is becoming anxious.

In the paddock, he is friendly in a herd, he has lived with gelding with us. He would be better in a home where he can live out as much as possible. He will need his weight monitoring to prevent obesity and laminitis. He has been good with electric fencing. Heston does not cope when totally left alone, so he will need a home where he will have a constant companion.

Heston is on a low dose of bute for his mobility so he is being rehomed on our Prime Pastures scheme, where we can contribute towards the cost of this, as he will need on going checks from a vet.
