The Mare and Foal Sanctuary is the largest equine charity in the South West peninsula, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of horses and ponies in need. Based in Devon, we have five specialist sites, including a veterinary and welfare assessment centre. We offer free no-shame advice to horse and pony owners and have an active programme of events. We also have a multidisciplinary Equine Assisted Services team offering learning and wellbeing sessions with horses and ponies to people in the community.
